Welcome to my personal fundraising page for NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness! NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. NAMI provides education, support, advocacy and awareness so that we all live better lives.
My name is Irene Katehis and I am a current Junior at SHU. I am working with all of Sacred Heart's Greek Life, as the founder of a project I am calling, "SHU Greek Life's Happiness Project." This year I was awarded the privilege of being named Delta Zeta’s Mental Health Chairman. Having struggled with my mental health for a lot of my adolescent life, I took this role on with force.
Delta Zeta and I believe that, it is okay not to be okay and your life matters. I hope you will take a stand with SHU Greek Life, and I in not only raising money for a fantastic cause but also in helping end the stigma.
